Antique Georgian Mahogany snap-top Breakfast Table

FOR SALE: A late 18th-century snap-top breakfast table This beautiful table is rectangular in shape with curved corners and a moulded edge. The tabletop comprises a single piece of mahogany, which has a great colour and deep patination. It is raised, lowered, and locked in position by means of a solid brass clasp. The table sits on a very well-turned pillar, which supports four attractive swept legs, which terminate in well-cast brass paw feet and the original castors. Being over 200 years old, the table bears the usual, and to be expected, signs of use and wear. Please study the photographs closely.
