Beautiful Georgian mahogony secretaire bookcase, immaculate condition with minimum scratches/marks (mainly on work area), exceptional for age. Top shelved section has a ladder effect shelf support for shelf adjustment. The large middle drawer opens to a fall front writing section with drawers, and pigeon hold interior. The twin door base section has 3 pull out drawers for ease of access and raised on bracket feet. The unit is finished with brass astragal trim on doors, brass drawer handles, drawer knobs, keyholes & hinges. Both keys in perfect working order. Top section can be seperated from bottom section for ease of transport. Lovely functional old piece, Quill & 2 nibs in photo were in small drawer when acquired.
