Antique Victorian Chiffonier - With All Drawers

This is an impressive, large (over 7 foot long), antique Victorian mahogany sideboard/chiffonier. This magnificent Victorian era piece is circa 1860 in date. It features three frieze drawers, above mahogany panelled doors on two cupboards, framed by elegantly carved, eye-catching corbels on either side, with a chunky plinth base. The attractively shaped gallery back features stylish Rococo carving. The two spacious cupboards offer generous storage space and also feature a hidden drawer. The sideboard has developed a wonderful colour and patina over the years. There are signs of use on the sideboard with just enough marks and fading from age for a little antique character! There is slight splitting on the serving surface of the piece (see photos) which is reflected in the price, but otherwise fully functional and in good condition. This unique, historic piece is always admired. Although not all pictured in the photos, the three drawers are all present, in working order and in great condition.
