The whole family worked in the business which thrived under William’s leadership. The factory flourished and in 1860 Britains Ltd was officially formed. In 1921 Britains Ltd launched a range of painted lead farm figurines, from animals to farm workers and their accessories. Now proudly available, A large job lot of c1940s Farm animals cast in lead from the well known maker William Britain.
