Edwardian Burr Walnut Writing Desk – Regency Style Circa 1900–1920 This is a beautifully made Edwardian writing desk with classic Regency-style features. It’s finished in burr walnut veneer with a green leather writing surface and detailed with decorative brass edging around the drawers. The desk has three drawers with original brass handles and sits on tapered legs with striking carved caryatid-style figures and leaf motifs. The build quality is excellent, with dovetail joints and solid construction throughout. It’s in great condition for its age – a few small signs of wear here and there, but nothing major. It’s sturdy, full of character, and works just as well as a functional desk as it does a statement piece in a home office or study.
