Description
Made during the famine for a farm at a workhouse in Sligo in 1849 by a Patrick Ryan (signed). Original metal spacers etc. Gates are over 10 foot wide (combined) so are suitable for modern traffic which is unusual for gates of this period. Made from pig iron so they are very heavy. Small bit of damage to one iron (see pics) but this is easily mended.
