Mid Century Sideboard

Manufactured by design powerhouse, G Plan of High Wycombe, England. From the ‘Tola’ range, this ‘Tola’ 4014, was created by the designer Leslie Dandy in the 1960s. With the gold stamp of its maker imprinted in the drawer, this piece has a very distinctive form….. The ebonised wood of its frame and sliding door panel and brass detailing of its handles, feet and panelling are unique to this designer and were immediately recognisable by the aspirational buyers of the mid century. For the collector of today this is a truly rare piece of quality and style. The sideboard features a drop down cocktail cabinet and spacious cupboard with a feature black sliding door and two drawers below which include a rich velvet lined cutlery drawer. The beautiful rich and warm tones of the sideboard are in perfect contrast with the ebonised wood and brass detailing.
