His sire, Crooked Post Curfew 8F (second photo), known for siring cattle with fantastic style and easy fleshing, while his dam Crooked Post Minnie 5A (third photo) is an impressive cow by any standards! Her progeny are impressive and include a full sister to Compass - Crooked Post Minnie 35H who can be seen in the fourth photo. Compass is easy calving at just 1.9% on beef cows and 5.1% on beef heifers. There is huge farmer satisfaction with his progeny to-date. His first heifer calves are feminine with great pelvises and have already sold to a high of £3,700 for an 11 month old daughter.
