Halter trained pedigree Dexter

I am offering my bull, Hastings Peterborough, for sale. He is a fully registered pure-bred pedigree Dexter. Included is a copy of his pedigree certificate. He was born on 17th January 2024 and is now just over one year old. I have halter trained him and he will walk well to my side. He is very docile and calm. I have shown him at the Future Stars of the Show Ring Show, Tullamore Show, and the Bunratty Rare Breeds Exhibition. On each occasion his behavour was immaculate and was completely unphased by the crowds. Hastings Peterborough is now fully weaned. During weaning he received a daily ration of feed under the Beef Welfare Scheme. This I have continued along with other members of my herd. I generally weigh all of my herd each month and record the weights with ICBF. I have included a copy of is record. I am currently in the second year of my conversion to being an organic farm. However, Hastings Peterborough was born within three months of the start or my conversion and will not be eligible to become organic. Included is a copy of my certification of registration. Part of my Animal Health Plan includes an annual dose of Endofluke. On 3rd November 2024, I gave him a 26 ml dose. Being in conversion to organic, the withdrawal period runs until the 23rd February 2025. In addition the Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) test has been carried out yielding a negative result. There has been an assessment of the DNA under the National Genotyping Programme and nothing extraordinary has been revealed. There is a negative chondrodysplasia test and Hastings Peterborough is not a carried of the short gene. Hastings Farm is quality assured under the Sustainable Beef and Lamb Assurance Scheme (SBLAS) scheme. His sire is Eilveis Mccowy and Hastings Peterborough is the first of five of calves. His Dam is Togar Phoenix and he is her first calf.
