Description

Irish Bred Wagyu Bull Straws registered with British Wagyu Breeders Association and Australian Wagyu Association. DNA parent verified. High Tajima breeding. The Bull “CUCHULLAIN” gives ease of calving, with calves up and sucking straight away. Been using CuChullain 15 years now with ZERO assisted calvings. I also finish and kill out at 30+ months. The meat is the best I ever had. Dairy farmers: CuChullain delivers a consistent high vigour calf on the ground with no pressure on the mother to deliver. She’ll be back in the parlour milking quickly. The best cross is with Friesian/Holstein but I have used him on Jersey and he still delivers a quality calf. Calf prices should be at least 20% above Angus or Hereford as a guide. They take to automatic feeding systems no problem. Good on Heifers. Small holders: CuChullain ensures an easy calving and easy reared calf for your small holding. They have a much calmer temperament than other breeds. Females are fertile, cycle naturally and are good mothers while the Males fatten easily and deliver high quality meat for you, your family and friends. There is even a good demand at the Marts now. Fullblood Breeding: Wagyu genetics are rare and no longer available from Japan. CuChullain offers a detailed and verified pedigree with legacy genetics from original Japanese exports. He is proven in fertility, calving ease, calving survival and finishing. CuChullain calves can be registered with the AWA who hold the international herd book outside of Japan. Crossbreeding: The most common use of Wagyu genetics is with Dairy breeds. Shorthorn, Angus, Red Poll, Simmental and Charlaois are also good breeds to use with Wagyu. Cuchullain is a proven Bull. His results speak for themselves. I have calves on the ground, growers in the field and finishers in the pens. And of course TOP QUALITY Meat in my Freezer!
