Vintage Road Bike

1979 Viking Rambler road bike. 23 1/2 inch frame, resprayed cherry red with new transfers. Rust free steel frame. Fully rebuilt this year to Eroica spec. Every ball bearing and bolt stripped and rebuilt. New bottom bracket. Ofmega 170mm crankset with 52/42 chain rings. New chain. Campagnolo high flange hubs with Mavic rims. Tan wall tyres nearly new, new set of schwalbe marathon tyres to go with it. Original Huret derailleur and downtube shifter. New cable inners and outers. 5 speed freewheel. Weinmann brake levers, calipers and pads, with brown rubber hoods. Selle San Marco rolls saddle in le rino brown. ITM quill stem with vintage Italian aluminium 44cm handlebars, new black bar tape. Elite Eroica double bottle cage, front mounted. New unused Elite water bottles. Chrome hand pump. Original Kyokuto toprun pedals with Christophe toe clips and red leather straps. Bike hasn't done 20km since restoration. Rides perfectly but the frame is too big for me to keep. Perfect for vintage days and I built it with an Eroica event in mind, so everything is period correct. It's a reluctant sale and I will be losing money so please no silly offers.
