Conure for Adoption

It is with deepest sorrow I am looking to rehome my baby Poco. She is the sweetest pineapple green cheek conure. She is 3.5 years old and the only reason I am rehoming her is due to having to move and not being able to take her along with me. She loves everyone but takes a little longer to warm up to women for some reason, men are her favourite! She has been well travelled, coming up and down the country with me in her carrier, she is not a bird who spooks easily. She has met other conures who she has always been very sweet and caring towards after the initial meet up. Despite calling her a she I think she is more likely to be male as she displays these behaviours more. I will include everything she needs, she has a large 4 foot tall cage and a parrot stand as well as lots of perches, toys and food. She is on a diet of Harrison’s pellets currently but has eaten a natural diet of chopped vegetables, sprouts and grain in the past too. She has been tested for avian flu recently and passed her health test last year. This bird loves nothing more than to snuggle up and repeat as many words as possible in her funny little voice. I am heartbroken to be making this post but only hope that someone who has adequate knowledge and potentially experience with the species would like to welcome her into their home. As someone who raised this bird from a baby and been through the difficulty of hormonal changes I would really recommend giving a more mature parrot a chance. I will not accept breeding homes or someone who will keep her in a cage most of the time. Ideally someone who works from home, has secure housing or is even retired as I would like this to be her forever home.
