1971 Dutch Steel Boat. 30 foot long, beam 3m, draft 1.06m Fully marinised DAF 575 diesel engine with separate exhaust, engine oil and gear box coolers. Bilge keel, 14 inch bronze propeller and double acting rudder. This is a seaboard design but suitable for all waters, with anti-roll apparatus each side and mid-mounted engine. Anti-splash guards each side. Inside and outside steering navigation wheels. Upper and lower guard rails and hand rails. Stainless steel davits Stainless steel anchor winch Stainless steel gas storage Lower fishing platform to rear No leaks whatsoever, very dry boat. Navigation aids are rudder direction meter, depth meter and speed meter. Side, rear and upper navigation lights mounted on 12 foot mast, easily demounted. Inside is a rear double bed, upper seated social area which can be converted to bed and contains steering and navigation aids and meters. Kitchen/ galley contains table (bed conversion possible), sink with electric tap with under storage. Gas cooker, oven and rings plus fridge. This boat is berthed at Hanley’s Marina, Lanesboro, Co Longford/Roscommon and can be viewed by appointment. At a recent lift out, the boat was described as the best steel boat ever lifted out at the marina.
