Beautiful 24' Gaff-Rigged Yacht

'Daisy' is a very well cared for 24' Gaff-Rigged Tamarisk 24 designed by David Cannell in the style of an Itchen Ferry Cutter and built by North Sea Craft Ltd in 1984. She's extremely comfortable, very well maintained and is offered for sale in first-class condition. The hull is a GRP long-keel profile with 2,500lbs of encapsulated ballast combined with a ply and mahogany deck and superstructure, all in first-class condition. The interior has been beautifully restored and features three comfortable berths, a head, galley and navigation station and is classic in appearance with lots of exposed wood and fresh brightwork. A solid-fuel stove is situated amidships to starboard with an insulated flue vented through the cabin roof and a television is affixed to the saloon bulkhead. The vessel has the original two-piece spruce mast together with original spars, all in excellent condition and a good set of sails, complete with a roller-reefing jib. The tabernacle has been cleaned and repainted in 2022 and is as good as new. Galvanised shrouds with swaged eyes and all running rigging is in serviceable condition as are the chainplates and shroud mounts. A Yanmar 1GM10 diesel engine provides mechanical propulsion via a gearbox driving three-blade fixed 15 x 10 bronze propeller. The original six gallon steel fuel tank was removed, cleaned and re-assembled in 2022 Daisy has been completely rewired last year and a new 220v electrical system installed including RCD breaker and shorepower connection. Two new 12v batteries (2022) are charged via a split-charging system. The water system is a pressurised cold water system and a fully compliant new gas installation has been fitted, complete with a new Plastimo Neptune 2000 two-ringed hob and grill.
