There is a serious shortage of Certified Chimney Sweeps in Ireland? To sweep current housing stock we need another 600+ Chimney sweeps urgently. Due to fuel poverty, people are burning anything to keep warm and this seriously blocks chimneys causing big issues and lots of work! Practical course over two days training (one theoretical and 1 practical) by the end of the training you will feel ready to start a career as a chimney sweep with all the necessary information to be safe and competent. Think of this like a driving test... it makes you safe enough to go out alone and drive safely, This course does the same but with sweeping. Should you need a day with a sweep this can be arranged for a fee. Next courses Available; June 25th & 26th (2 Spaces Left) July 30th & 31st August 27th & 28th We are the only people in Ireland, who manufacture chimney sweeping equipment and train chimney sweeps to certification. This training is at the low cost of €487.81 + VAT (€600 incl) We accept back to work, and retraining grants (Social Protection Grants) We train on both Commercial and Domestic chimney cleaning and maintenance. Learn how to spot non-compliance installations (building regulations Part J) and safely sweep the appliance, certificate, CCTV inspect, smoke evacuation test and leave the customer with knowledge on how to best use the appliance.
