2001 T4 Transporter 1.9TD / would swap

I would swap this van for a medium sized van preferably with a tail lift but not essential. I put this vehicle up for sale last year and was contacted many times and asked how much it would be to transfer to an Irish number plate, to which i did not have an answer at that time. I have since been in contact with a car dealer here in Dublin who put me in contact with a NCTS/VRT centre who deal with such transfers, they inspect the vehicle and i had to give them the registration documents, sale receipt, proof of address, PPS Documentation, Photo ID, Fill out forms etc. They will then give you a valuation of the vehicle and tell you how much the VRT (vehicle registration tax) will cost. I was told by them it could cost between €1000 - €2000. They would not give me an exact price without firstly getting customs clearance/ shipping details. I was also told i could not sell the vehicle for at least 1 year after the registration of the vehicle. I didn't go any further because if i got it registered i would not be able to sell it for a year so. The car dealer explained to me that if the van was on an Irish number plate, it would have a market value in this country of around €14,000. Looking at similar vans on this site, that seems to be the general value of them. This is a custom design van and you will not find another like it. I also have a drive away awning that i will throw in if you want it.
