Hymer B 564 2.5L Turbo, Well maintained.

This is a B 564, 5 meter long, 6 seater, 4 sleeper. arguably the best layout of this range of Hymers. Drop down bed at the front, bathroom at the rear and kitchen living space in between. Fitted with a wonderful 2.5 L turbo diesel so long motorway travelling is no problem and surprising cheap. I bought the camper early in 22 for a planed trip, holidaying are way through France, to visit and travel with friends in northern Spain. So it had to be a good one, which it was. The previous owner had ; Replaced with new the boiler/regulated central heating system. Fitted air suspension to the rear wheels to improve the ride. Upgraded the 12v system with rewiring, fuses, meter display, solar panel on the roof and charging controller, so no risk of flat batterys. Reupholstered all the seats . Fitted an extraction fan to the cassette toilet so that air is automatically drawn in to the toilet during use. And many other smaller improvements. Mechanically and electrically everything works as it should. The engine starts first flick, sometimes even after standing for months. the gearbox and brakes are excellent. These older Hymers are amazingly well built and winter prepared. The rear compartment on this model is designed to take skis and snow covered clothing. These Hymers can stand out all winter and remain dry and fresh inside. The domestic water system automatically self drains if the inside temperature drops close to freezing, so no risk of frost damage. Both front seats are swivel seats, television, loads of storage in solid wood cabinets. A previous owner has installed a microwave. The original intention was to keep the Hymer in Spain and use it for holidays there but that proved not to be possible, so it was brought home. I have a VW T3 which is big enough for me here, so this Hymer is looking for a good home. It has been off the road since September but will be sold with a new CVRT and tax.
