Mercedes T1 Camper

Mercedes T1 410D. 1994 vintage campervan. 175k~ mileage. -8 seat-belted seats (registered as 8-seater camper)(8 seats is still under maximum of what can be driven with regular car driving licence, and regular campervan insurance. This vehicle can be driven with a regular full licence). -2x 100w solar panels. -Victron BlueSolar charge controller. -Victron 12V 170Ah AGM Super Cycle battery. -1500w Krieger inverter with 2x three-pin plug sockets (can power laptop for a few hours) and 2x USB slots (always charge available to charge phones etc). -2x touch-LED ceiling lights. -5kw diesel heater installed with remote. Powerful and efficient. Van is well insulated, holds heat well (can also keep van cool in hot weather). Also has fibreglass wallpaper and wood cladded ceiling. -Van has fresh 2-year CVRT road test done, and is in full working order. -Had new brake drums, lines, and pads put in a year ago. -Roof access ladder. -Steel roof rack. -Full length van awning. -Full-size double bed with lots of storage space for bikes underneath. Large adjustable vent above bed. Bed has hydraulics to change to sit-up/couch position (see photo). -There is a way to set up a second full-size double bed in kitchen/sitting area (bed frame and mattress sits between opposing headrests). -Kitchenette: Two-tier gas hob with vent in ceiling above, sink, 4x drawers, magnetic spice rack. Have stayed in van in all sorts of weather, and have done countless trips across Ireland, as well as a few trips to Scotland and Wales. So much fun and good times - it hasn’t been easy having to decide to sell. A joy to drive, especially with the classic big steering wheel. It has brought us far and wide, sometimes with a full crew of 8 people even, and a mountain bike each. Given it’s a vintage, it does need its dose of TLC now and then. But the Mercedes T1 is good reliable engined van with a bit of character, and a great size for a camper.
