VW California

The California is a really beautifully VW manufactured camper. It is a completely superior machine to any aftermarket conversion. The overall attention to detail is brilliant including little touches like hidden blinds, sliding seats, remote control heating activation etc. It performs equally well as a base on a Sunday family walk. Slide the rear seat forward, remove the rear shelf and it is very useful for shifting large items like furniture. This has the larger engine and has plenty of power down the motorway and is very happy at 120 or 130 kph. I also have a VW 5th seat which allows you to bring a fifth passenger. At 1.95m it fits into car parks and is easily managed around town. This van is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition and has brought us on many fun holidays.
