I bought and sold a car from John, and was very happy with both transactions. John is very nice and helpful, and the purchase was very smooth and the car in a very good state. When I moved out the country and had to sell, it was extremely easy for me as I just had to give the keys, received frequent updates and then the payement up to my expectations. We were travelling through the UK and Ireland in a rental car. Whilst visiting the Cliffs of Moher our front passenger side door was blown open and completely buckled. We couldn’t close the door and had to tie it shut with shoelaces. We spent two days ringing, emailing and going to the rental car offices but received no help. Apparently the English offices don’t work with the Irish offices , even though it is the same rental company. Met John from Blackrock Motor Company at the Welcome Inn and he took us under his wing and helped to get our car fixed so that it was safe. We are completely overwhelmed, not only by his kindness but his honesty. Cannot put into words what a wonderful fella John is. He turned out to be our knight in shining armour going above and beyond to help a couple of Aussie strangers in trouble.
