I purchased a stunning new 420i m sport convertible from Rob McGrath in Colm Quinn’s Athlone. At every stage of the ordering through to the collection of my car I was truly so very impressed with the service and atmosphere in the Athlone showrooms. Rob as my salesman was extraordinary in his attention to detail and follow up with me . Most importantly he listened to me in terms of what I wanted and wasn’t at all pushy so whilst I bought most of “bells and whistles “ I understood what I was buying and what would suit me as the driver!! I’m thrilled with my choices and although it was a big outlay, believe that I have a good deal, most especially taking the supportive staff standing over the purchase! Rob is a great salesperson but additionally he is a gentleman true to his word , which I’ve already experienced with him. In point of fact , although the showroom and Rob in particular are extremely busy, he always gets back to me, even at the expense of his family time and I’m most appreciative of this. Tilly is the extremely talented and knowledgeable young woman who introduced me to my cars fab features ( there’s a lot to learn) and she is welcoming me back to answer any questions I now have , which is so reassuring. She is fun, patient and very knowledgeable and so the learning experience is very relaxed indeed. Those who know me would say I have very exacting standards and frankly can be difficult to impress, this is a team which has truly gone beyond what would be normally required and offer a 5 star experience and back up service. They are in a word ‘OUTSTANDING’
