Mazda MX-5 2006

Regretfully putting up for sale my 2006 MX-5 NC 2.0. Have always invested in the car as I fully intended to keep for the long term but change in circumstances (new job, more motorway driving, not getting the full benefit of the car) combined with a wedding coming up I have decided to let it go. It's a fantastically fun car - intend to get another once the finances have recovered and I have the space for a weekend car again. Txt preferred during weekdays 9-6, - Long NCT (May 25) - Regularly serviced, always premium oil/filters 8-10k miles. - Limited-slip-differential - big improvement to handling performance (and fun) - Aftermarket stereo head unit with Bluetooth - All major mechanical weaknesses of this generation of car addressed with no corners cut. - Upgraded Koni shocks H&R springs - much improved look of car and much more stable & responsive than stock, retains same ride quality, balance and feel of stock suspension. 2 major bodies of work done to restore & upgrade the car in my ownership: Full engine rebuild at 83k miles by experienced competition engine builder to high standard. - Head & block skimmed - OEM or better components - Uprated AP racing bearings - Rings & seals - New timing chain & tensioner kit - New Water pump, coolant flush - Exedy clutch kit Suspension & chassis overhaul approx. 99k miles - Under body & chassis professionally treated & sealed. - New Shocks & Springs - Koni STR.T dampers with H&R springs Just had full service & passed NCT at 106k miles (end June - hardly driven since). - Premium oil & filter - New vented, drilled & grooved disks all round with new Mintex pads - Calliper piston seals & slide pins replaced/refurbished - Brake fluid change & bleed - Headlights restored - Hood cleaned & treated - 2 new rear tyres Kumho Ecsta HS52 (Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ~50% on front) - New battery fitted approx. 6 months ago
