Mazda Mx5 NC 2.0L

2006 NC1, 79k miles and counting. UK import to NI around 2017-ish, imported to ROI by me in 2024, all VRT paid etc. I've owned the car since 66k miles, it's my daily driver and it has been a pleasure to own. It's had 2 oil services (68k and 74k). 🟡 NCT and Tax until March 2025 ⚫️ BC Coilovers with adjustable damping 🟡 Bola 18" alloys matte black ⚫️Firestone Firehawks to the front, rear tyres are still good enough for now 🟡 Black removable hard top, soft top in great condition - no leaks, tears or brittle rubbers ⚫️ 4-1 decat header (no problem passing emissions, but the lambda sensor needs relocating downstream of the secondary cat, so its throwing a light on the dash) 🟡 K&N induction and filter ⚫️ LED park lights, dips, heads and side indicators 🟡 No leaks in the boot or footwells, 3rd brake light and tail lights have been sealed and will never give problems. ⚫️ Resprayed in Renault Liquid Yellow Pearl, original colour is grey as seen in the engine bay. This colour absolutely glows in the sunshine 🌞 🟡 No rust in the sills or arches. ⚫️ Black vinyl upholstery with yello2 diamond stitching, very tidy job. Piano black plastic isn't too bad, and the radio buttons are not faded or anything. 🟡 Original radio doesn't have BOSE, but all speakers are working well. ⚫️ New genuine Mazda discs and pads to the rear axle in 2024 with receipts. 🟡 New rearmost ball joints to the rear axle from BOFI racing in 2024, with receipts. ⚫️ New genuine Mazda coolant expansion bottle in 2024. Coolant flushed and thermostat changed. It never overheated, but this is a common issue on this platform so it was preventative maintenance. Jobs to be done include 🔴 Get firstones on rear axle to match the front 🔴 Relocate exhaust sensor downstream of the secondary cat 🔴 Replace front passenger ABS sensor as its throwing an engine light. The light goes away every time you start the car, then comes on mid-drive. It hasn't affected braking performance or stability...I've tested!
