Featuring the naturally aspirated, twinspark M113 5.4L V8 built at Mercedes-AMG Affalterbach, Germany. This particular engine was hand assembled by Mr. Walter Choritz who later assembled engines for the Mercedes SLR Mclaren. Notably, the W209 CLK 55 was also used as the official F1 Grand Prix safety car for the 2004 race season. I had planned to keep it long term but haven't bonded with the vehicle, I'm not looking to turn a profit on this car, just to recoup some of my expenditure. All expenditure is documented and included in the vehicle history for total transparency. In recent months, a lot of work has been carried out and many thousands have been spent ensuring this CLK 55 AMG is roadworthy, (just to mention) a new set of coils and spark plugs (totalling over €1,000 alone) along with a new set of Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres have been fitted in recent weeks. There is a hefty history file and two keys accompanying the car. This CLK 55 AMG spent many years street parked in Dublin 4, it's well documented online and has survived in remarkably good condition. The front and rear bumpers have been resprayed in the last few months, and it has been fully serviced and made NCT worthy at a reputable Mercedes-Benz Specialists in recent weeks, it is now awaiting its new owner. A Pioneer Bluetooth hands free audio system has also been fitted for audio streaming through the BOSE sound surround system. Unfortunately the original in-car mounted Nokia phone is not present. The W209 CLK 55 will be a comfortable, quiet pillarless cruiser or a thundering GT (over 350bhp) should you require it. Accompanied by a 12 months NCT, and tax until Feb 1st.
