Opel Astra Convertible

Have owned this Astra since August 2023, in that time I’ve drove around 12000km in it and it has been fantastic. Richard Hammond drove one on Top Gear and loved it, said you didn’t need the bigger 2.0, the 1.8 was perfect. This car being the 1.8 had 125bhp from factory but likely has lost some horses in its 20 years. It comes in a nice blue/purple colour, it shifts between the colours when you look at it in the light. With the cream leather I think it contrasts really well. It still is great fun, really nippy and great in the corners. New clutch, timing belt and water pump, coils, 5 tyres, brake discs and pads, and drop links. This is the last car designed for Opel by Bertone, and it is ageing beautifully. It also has the Irmscher pack, so it has a dual exhaust and also a shorter Irmscher gear knob and Irmscher metal pedals. It is definitely a future classic. Selling as I bought a new car. This car is taxed until June 2025, the NCT is also booked for June but car is in great condition.
