If your going to buy cars or vans from any auctions I would highly recommended Mellins auctions. Unlike other auctions they have reports on the vehicles and do try to let you know if there is anything wrong with the vehicle. Not always 100% but the do try unlike other auctions.

First time going to Merlin Auctions today in the hope of finding a bargain buy affordable to my budget. Over 160 car were on auction from €700 to over €40,000. Huge choice with something for everyone no matter your budget. After winning my bid I had a query that the staff in the office helped me every step to finalise my purchase. Much thanks to the staff who are extremely helpful and engaging, I’ll definitely be returning on the next occasion when upgrading to a newer car. The descriptions of any faults or damage of vehicles was accurate and much appreciated. 100% recommended To the management and staff… Thank you 🙏

Brought in a car for auction this morning. It's a top of the range Peugeot 508 allure 151 which cost almost €40,000 new. This has 146klms on the clock with full service history. I put a reserve of €7000 on this and when the girl came back she said they thought it was a bit high and were willing to put €3,500 on it. Needless to say I walked away. It will be my last visit and I would not recommend to anyone
