Great service as always. Went in for a service. Completed super quickly with no surprises. The one thing I always notice in Connollys is how friendly everyone is. All the staff take the time to acknowledge you. Very different to other main dealers I have encountered where unless you are buying a new car you are merely an inconvenience. Everyone is made to feel welcome and valued here.

Came in to test drive a car. There's numerous models in the show room and someone quickly reached out to help me. He listened to what I was looking for and took me to a car available to drive. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. He kept playing with the stereo, pressing buttons and just being distracting, he made up information about the car and told me it had features which I know are not available in Ireland. When we returned I was offered a drink and asked again what I was looking for. But then, again, quickly pushed to buy something else. He looked up a different, more expensive spec (+10k) on the computer suggesting it was in fact the same car we drove, then returned from a chat with the manager confirming the car was available soon and a VW rebate was available. I asked for a copy to think about it. The print out was for a different spec car, had no rebate, etc. He didn't mention the differences. Actually, he said VW had lowered the price by 10k just recently... which is not correct. He did follow up with a call and left a voicemail. Almost there. Needs more training. I visited two other brand dealers on the same day and had a remarkable different experience: honest, straightforward, accurate information and no pushing to buy something I didn't want, or more expensive than required. I liked the VW car but wouldn't buy from here.

Fabulous showrooms, with very friendly staff. But I only gave three stars due to one issue. Its not really anything bad, I was getting my 131 Audi serviced and it took 2 hours. I waited in the showroom looking at some beautiful cars and for the full two hours no sales man/woman came near me. I'm not in the market for buying just yet, but a good sales person would slowly plant the idea in my head, like a test drive or just a chat about cars in general, and then work there magic from there.
