I bought a 2011 BMW 520 off Ciaran about 4 weeks ago, he was very courteous and allowed me to bring the car to my mechanic which I was surprised as it was a 13 year old car. He serviced the car and also had it cleaned for us. It was like purchasing a new car. I know sometimes there can be bad experiences in buying cars but for me this was a very good experience at Rhino Car sales. Only after buying the car I realised that this was the same place that my sister bought a car from in 2018, so it's nice seeing a business start up and grow like this one. Thanks again.

Absolute cowboy!! Sold us a landrover discovery in March and on the first day it was getting towed away 3hrs later, then collected it 2 days later for it to be towed away again 2 hours later. Was then parked up in a garage for 3 weeks waiting on Ciaran to get us a part for it, that came and in 2 days later gear box and dpf melted and more . When selling the car he told us the car had one year warranty with him but Infact it’s with mapfre a seperate company who only cover 2500, we were quoted 15k upwards to fix everything wrong. He told us over text to not mention to warranty that the problem was on the car when we bought it ,which it was ,otherwise they won’t fix it. We have asked for our money back and give our car back but he refused. We are now left without a car for our family, we are currently dealing with a Solictor and a private engineer whose report i will leave below.

Stay well clear of this LOWLIFE who also helped put my 3 year old child into this death trap knowing full well it was not safe to drive out of he’s yard.

Also look out for service stickers as he Lyon’s of limerick service sticker on this jeep and i contacted Lyon’s and it had never stepped foot in there

April 2024. I recently bought a car there .  A 12 BMW. cost é8000 I found Kieran Ryan to be  honorable and very efficient. I am happy with my purchase and the service I got from Rhino Car-sales.
I wrote my review just after purchase. I wish I had not as I  have had nothing but trouble with the car and the Kieran Ryan since then. The engine emitted smoke in the middle of my journey to Clare- just two weeks after I bought the car- the coolant pipe was leaking- I was lucky I could get to a shop for help. Ryan fixed this but refused to pay my cost of a taxi from Ennis to Limerick- it was a Sunday and I was  out of pocket 70e for the taxi. Last week the car had to be pushed to get the battery going. It appeared that playing the radio affected it. The people who helped push the car said this should not happen.  Now the driver window wont work- Rhino said he would get it fixed with a new part for é100-fair enough but when he demanded I pay the hundred before the work was done when i was collecting the car .They refused. So I took away my car as if the window part was not the problem I would have had more trouble with Rhino. i have since learnt  from a BMW garage mechanic that the new part may not be the problem so i would have been out of pocket another e100 if it did not rectify the problem. I know nothing about cars- I am a middle aged woman and feel that people like Kieran Ryan were exploiting this. July 2024 Aileen Walshe
