Description
Very rare 10" Shellac disc 78rpm from the race commentary at Ascot racecourse 1956 when Irish racehorse Skindles Hotel (Champion 2 year old thoroughbred) won the new stakes,jockey was Brian Swift, the race was renamed the Norfolk stakes in 1973. This rare disc on 78rpm has race commentary from before the race, during and after race won A very rare piece of Irish racehorse history in mint condition. Also i have for sale a rare 10" disc 33 rpm of the 1969 winner of the new stakes Ascot commentary about the horses,jockeys,owners,trainers and wins at Ascot race course before there off,during the race and after finish champion thoroughbred Winner (Tribal Chief),trained by Brian Swift the jockey that won the new stakes at Ascot in 1956 is also mentioned on this disc,which i have that disc above for sale.Pictures 1,2,3,4 are of 1956 disc and pictures 5,6,7,8 are of 1969 disc.both disc's are in excellent condition and both priced at €75 each
