On the 13th of January 2024 my car threw up a charging fault. I drove to JJ Griffith without appointment. The service Manager was very helpful and had a mechanic took my car right away. I was told I could sit in the sales area to wait for my car to be fixed. Morgan the sales man was very helpful and my car was fixed within one hour. I can not recommend thease guys highly enough. Fantastic customer service

Called for a last minute appointment to have a little work done on my car. Sean was more than accommodating. Very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Such a good experience, that I've decided to bring my car there for a much needed service and hopefully subsequent work.

I gave 3 mark, only that you change your work time for next people. For now I am here, 9:10 am, Saturday, but you are closed. Sorry, but I really drive specially for this time...Will drive next place (I need engine oil )

Rather lengthy but necessarily so I'm afraid.
Decided to book my car in for a first service at Castlebar as this was the nearest place to my home (not the dealership's fault but Ford.ie - why do you have such a pathetically small network of dealers in the west?). Just trying to find the proper service schedule was an ordeal. The sticker in the car said 1 year or 10,000 kms, Ford.ie says 2 years or 20,000 kms! Also, trying to find the cost was ordeal #2. All the dealer websites I looked at had the same info on pricing but the problem was that the Puma is not mentioned anywhere. Not the dealers fault but indicates Ford of Ireland need to get their act together - the Puma has been around for a while.
I had booked the service 3 weeks prior and said I would be waiting for the car since I lived 40 kms away, but on arrival was asked to give a contact number so they could tell me when the car was ready. Clearly they hadn't noted that I was waiting. I was told it would take 2 hours (at the time of booking was told 1 hour if I was waiting). Was shown the waiting area which, to be frank, was a disgrace. Perhaps I've been spoilt by the facilities on hand at US dealerships and was expecting the same or similar. The area was small, just three chairs, freezing cold and draughty, the coffee machine was out of order (there was no other drinks or snacks or anything else on offer), the bin hadn't been emptied for days, the only reading material was a newspaper that was 5 weeks old, the floor was dirty, the window sills were absolutely disgusting with a liberal sprinkling of dead flies, cobwebs and dirt, and the floor was similarly stocked. Must have been many months since any sort of cleaning was done - totally unacceptable. Final insult was when I asked what the password was for the Wi-Fi and was told there is no customer Wi-Fi. Really?? The whole area was just so shabby
At the end of the day the service was completed in 1 hour, Sean who booked the service was very nice, said the vehicle had absolutely no problems (the service tech had written "lovely car, wish they were all like this" which was a nice touch) and explained the cost would only be 80 euros instead of 220 euros which I was quoted when I enquired (outrageous price for a simple service on a simple vehicle) since nothing needed any attention.
Due to the disgusting state of the waiting area and the complete lack of facilities, indicating an unwillingness to be customer-oriented, I will be very unlikely to ever set foot in the door of this establishment again. JJ Griffiths - you need to get your act together, as do Ford.ie.

To be honest If there was minus stars I would give it to this business !
Myself and my partner both had cars bought from this business, but from what we experienced the staff in Griffiths operate a "Fob the customer off" kind of approach.
All nice when you are in the courtyard and have made a deal to buy a car but when you drive away and are told you will receive a call as to when the car would be ready. This call never comes, you ring and ask the receptionist for a sales person to be told they are busy and will ring you back soon (which could be 3 days later if your lucky!).
Needless to say myself and my partner have since bought cars from another Ford dealer, big difference in the 2 companies!
Will not be returning to Griffiths !
