IMPORTANT NOTE- Van Ad was removed to get something that cropped up during the first viewings looked at. It appears that the coolant system is building pressure. Professional diagnoses from a new mechanic (turns out the old one was no great shakes) would suggest a small leak in the head gasket. I have been driving it since and whilst it is driving fine and not getting any worse, its not going to get any better and will need some engine work in the future. You could mask this problem temporarily for the sale but that's not my gig. I have priced a re-con head from a reputable supplier at €400 but don't have the time or inclination as new van purchases is in hand. Current mileage just under 202K, Now priced at circa €7000. Original Ad- Very clean Exlwb sprinter crew cab for sale. Was bought at a price that reflected the bit of love needed to get her right. Plan was to put a bit of time and money into her and keep long-term as work bus/camper. Has since had new discs and pads all round, new drop links, ball joint, front top-mounts and shocks. New (surprise surprise) inlet manifold, coolant tank and viscous clutch fan. Comes fully serviced with new battery, new rear light cluster, electric window switches, sliding door slider and a bit of old fashioned tlc. Starts first time, goes well, drives well and stops well. Only selling due to a rare improvement in circumstance that has allowed for getting a newer van . I paid 7500 for it less than six months ago and have put 12/1300 in to her. Asking 8500 to sell but open to offers.. one monster van in the driveway is enough. DOE'd end August 2024 to 08/02/2025 Mileage 199kms
