**Disappointing Experience – Lack of Transparency and Poor Customer Service**

I saw two 2020 BMW X7s listed on Auto Trader from Brampton Auto Planet, one with an accident history and one without. I specifically called the dealership and explained that I was only interested in the accident-free model, as I planned to bring my wife and kid to check it out as it was for them. They assured me the car was available and booked an appointment. However, when we arrived, they told us the accident-free model wasn’t there and tried to sell the damaged one instead. Upon inspection, we noticed the heat absorb pad under the hood was damaged, which made my wife apprehensive. We made it clear we would wait for the car we originally wanted.

A few days later.. today, I called again to confirm if the accident-free X7 was available. I was told it was in the showroom and asked them to have it ready for a test drive, as I was coming between meetings and would buy it immediately if it checks out. After driving 45 minutes to the dealership, I was told the car was actually at a body shop and not available to view or test drive—despite being told multiple times it was at the location  and ready for test drive by the person Who booked my appointment. I expressed my disappointment of having to come back again to a sales rep who spoke to me and I left.

Before leaving, I received a call from someone who appeared to be a manager, who connected me with the Brampton location manager. While he apologized and promised to call me when the car was back, he didn’t seem to understand my frustration. I told him that if I had to come back a third time, I would only consider buying it at $60K instead of the listed $63K for wasting my time. The manager’s response made it clear they didn’t care about my experience or earning my business.

After this terrible back-and-forth, I won’t be recommending Brampton Auto Planet to anyone—friends, family, clients, or my social media followers. Stick to official BMW dealerships that respect their customers' time and won't mislead you just to get you in the door. What a waste of time..
