Patrick O'Brien first started selling Renault vehicles in 1963 in Rochfortbridge before moving to the Lynn Road in Mullingar in 1971. I recently purchased a used EV from this dealership, within an hour of the car going up for sale I had rang them to enquire and the following Monday I had travelled from Galway to view and take a test drive.  I placed a deposit, asked some questions, and all was well.

When I arrived to pick up the car there were some issues that showed the dealership hadn't properly prepared for my arrival, even though I had spoken to them in advance, but worst of all for me, the car was not fully charged when I came to pick it up.

I had let the salesman know I had travelled from Galway, and the car was sitting around 36% charge.  I had to wait quite a while on the day to actually complete the sale, because I think the receptionist failed to inform the salesman I was there to see him?

Then I had to wait even longer for the car to have enough charge for me to get home.

I ended up being late for work and lost money and time due to bad preparation.  I arrived at 9.25am and wasn't heading home until 12.15pm. That is crazy!

Besides the bad purchasing experience, the car itself is in good order and I don't believe I'll have any issues with it.

But really and truly, I felt a bit let down with the purchasing experience, it could have been a lot better & I would hesitate to return for future business
