Planning permission is now required for any TAMS Grant application. All Banks require full planning before they will issue any loan money on new projects. Planning permission will take up to 4 months, and can sometimes be delayed with further information up to 6 months. Give yourself plenty of time and apply early to be ready to avail of the new grants. Planning Permission lasts for 5 year. Please note: If you have built buildings in the past without planning they will now require retention of planning. This process will take 4 to 6 months also to complete.
