Description
Belonged to my late dad, who allways said it was a stoney metorite, I witnessed it falling from the night sky years ago, he later found it embedded into the ground! Melted surface still visible, believe it's called the fusion crust Common meteorites have a metal content and are attracted to a magnet, but the rarest of meteorites like those from the moon don't contain any metal and so won't attract a magnet I have tried the magnet test and it has no metallic content, so must be from the moon and if so that makes it the rarest, only 7 in 1,000 meteorites are from the moon! Big chunk of a thing, and very heavy, as can be seen in pics Look at the prices online, they sell by the gram, somthing like 2 quid a gram, this thing weighs close to four and a half stone, that's 28,576 grams! I just want gone, so looking to get 5k for quick sale On a dedicated metorite trading site its worth big money Note it was never looked at by an expert, but was looked at by a keen astronomer friend of my dad, who agreed that it looked very much like a stoney metorite as far as he could tell, and taken in to account I actually seen one falling from sky in same area that it was found, it just could be it! But don't just take my word for it, come have a look, by all means bring an expert, but I do believe it's the real thing! Message via donedeal message service and I will get back ASAP Thanks for looking!
