Easy Shed Base

Every steel shed needs a shed base! This can be tarmac, concrete, or anything that makes a solid, level base. The Shed Base from Sheds Direct Ireland is designed to be much more cost effective, with less work to do on your end. If you’ve ever played with Lego you’re now already over-qualified to make your base for your steel shed. From €26 for a pack of 4, the base can be laid onto any level ground and with minimal effort, meaning that you’re already half-way there to having a new shed in place. Our website will also tell you how many bases are needed for each shed, as you may require multiple packs. Each of our Shed Base panels is 50cm x 50cm / 1.7ft x 1.7ft How it works: ✅ Measure out your base. ✅ Put down a damp proof membrane in the area and cover with a small amount of gravel or sand (to level the ground). ✅ Place Shed Base onto this layer of gravel / sand. ✅ Fill Shed Base with pea gravel or concrete. ✅ Smooth out the surface so that there is nothing protruding out and also make sure that all holes are suitably filled in. ✅Place your shed on top of this! ✅ Tell everyone at all future social occasions about how you, yes you, built a base for your garden shed. Steel sheds built on uneven, incomplete surfaces will suffer from damp, warping, cracking or leaks. This base will help eliminate the chances of any of this happening.
