57 5E3 Deluxe Amp

Lil Dawg Custom Deluxe 5E3 Amp. This Amp was built by Jim Nickelson at Lil Dawg Amps. Unfortunately, Jim isn't shipping from the USA anymore. Jim is a master Amp builder, a one man show. Christian guy who plays the game very straight and has forgotten more about Amps than I'll ever know. At the time I bought this amp the Fender equivalent was about 50 euro cheaper but I knew Jim's work and I wanted the very best components in the amp. I asked Jim to build me a 5E3 that he would build for himself. Imo you won't get a better built 5E3 it wasn't built from a kit. Every component was selected by Jim. MM Trannies, Sprague Atoms, SoZo Blue coupling caps, Jim also installed the Paul C mod and switchable Bias both on hidden switches at the rear of the amp. The Cab and Weber Speaker was purchased in the States and the complete amp shipped to me.I had to get an Customs agent to clear the amp through Customs as the cost was over 2,000 euro. The Cab was made by Mather Custom Cabs and it's approx 1inch bigger all round than the standard 5E3 Cab with a light vintage tint, best looking Cab I've seen. The Amp is in pristine condition. I also had a custom cover made as the Standard 5E3 cover wouldn't fit and also a Brass nameplate. You can see the receipts in the Photos. A Fender Deluxe 5E3 will cost you 2,600euro and this amp has better components, a better Cab, Speaker and Cover, Paul C Mod and switchable Bias.and was built by one of the best Amp builders in the USA.Jim sent photos of the Amp in Build from Start to finish and they will come with the Amp. Also instructions on how to Bias the Amp should you wish to change tubes. ONLY GET A QUALIFIED AMP TECH TO REBAIS THE AMP IF YOU CHANGE TUBES. VOLTAGES INSIDE AN AMP CAN KILL YOU.!!!! IF DOWN THE ROAD YOU DO CHANGE TUBES YOU CAN RUN THE AMP IN CATHODE BIAS WITHOUT BIASING THE TUBES. ALL 5E3 AMPS ARE CATHODE BIASED. FIXED BIAS WILL GIVE YOU MORE HEADROOM AND A CLEANER SOUND AS WILL THE PAUL C MOD. The MM Trannies are the Tone Clone set Mr Gibbons had the Transformers removed from his 1950s 5e3 and had them replaced with this set from what I have read on the net as his vintage transformers were worth a fortune.
