Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom 2011

LIMITED EDITION – ONLY PRODUCED IN 2008 AND 2011-2012! No longer in production – rare and increasingly hard to find! Important: This is not the later Gibson "Custom Lite" model, which features a thinner body and modern weight relief. This Classic Custom has the traditional full-thickness Les Paul body. This beautiful 2011 Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom is in excellent condition. It features a solid two-piece mahogany body (not chambered), a one-piece mahogany neck, and a carved maple top with an Antique Natural finish. The body is the same thickness as a Les Paul Standard—no thinning here! There are some minor belt buckle scuffs on the back, but the sides and front are immaculate with a glossy, mirror-like finish. Check out the photos! Frets are in great shape with plenty of life left. Tuners have been upgraded to locking tuners for improved tuning stability—great for heavy playing. The fretboard is made from premium baked maple (instead of rosewood), which I’ve naturally darkened over the years with neck oil and wax to closely resemble ebony. It features triple binding on the top (like a Les Paul Custom) and the headstock also has the diamond inlay and binding. The inlays on the fretboard are synthetic, like those used on Standard and Studio models. Pickups: Factory-installed Gibson '57 Classic and '57 Classic Plus. Knobs: Vintage-style Gibson knobs (the same style used on SGs), which look better than the standard ones. Includes the original Gibson hard case (Made in Canada), also in excellent condition—no tears or rips in the vinyl.
