Description
Over forty years ago Michael Hilliar designed a range of jewelry with 12 Irish symbols. The images represent the most important stages of our Irish History. Michael who resides in Dublin won an award for this clever design and over the years added many new items to his collection. Since his retirement this is a rare find. This sterling silver bracelet would be a favorite among Irish people. The chain on the bracelet are made of very solid heavy belcher links. The oval disc has a Celtic Cross in the center which was such a distinctive expression of Christianity. St Patrick is the first symbol to appear on the disc and perhaps one of the most important. Our patron saint changed the course of history in the 5th century when he began his mission of converting Ireland to Christianity. The last symbol is the question mark to indicate what is the future or Quo Vadis. 8 inches Can post for extra Original box misplaced will provide another jewellery box
