1895 Traditional Bluthner Overstrung Upright Piano A beautifully restored German Bluthner with French polished Rosewood casing and original ivory keys. Previously rebuilt, excellent pitch and full rounded clear tone. Renewed brass trimmings, regulated action, new key bed felts and tapes, black turned ornate legs, overstrung with cast iron frame, weighted keys and responsive medium touch. The casing is grained Rosewood, shiny, with black wooden trim on edges. Original brass side gripping handles, typical of period and a nice feature which you generally only find on Bluthners. Tight tuning pins, overdamper and overstrung. Ideal for all levels of player and a true family heirloom by highly regarded German manufacturer. Bought from O'Briain Pianos in 2014
