Insinkerator, Sink and Qettle Tap

This sink with qettle tap and insinkerator were installed in 2019, this is a second kitchen sink located in the island of our kitchen. We are no longer using the qettle tap as we installed a water softener for the house which softens all the water using salt so we cannot use the boiling tap for tea etc because of the salt in the water. We are using the insinkerator but we now have a brown bin so we are hoping to remove the entire sink from the island and have counter space instead.
