Use dip cup or beaker. Ensure at least 3/4 of teat is immersed into gel. Benefits in using 2-3 weeks prior to calving, to act as barrier to pathogens. Allow animal to stand for at least 5 minutes to ensure gel has dried sufficiently. Sealant may be removed at any stage by peeling away from skin.
