The Beach in the Old Town is our favorite and is just a 5 minute walk. There is a very scenic 1 to 2 km Coastal Walk along the promenade that is just 300 metres away,,,and this leads up towards the Old Town and around the Rocky Headland, Beaches and Restaurants that lead to "D'Empuries an Ancient Roman Site" or alternatively, one can walk down to the Marina / Reills beach or Montgo Beach.
