Classic BMW R50/2 Motorcycle. Year 1961

BMW R50/2 Year 1961 A beautiful classic BMW from the 1960s restored to a high standard. I bought this fully restored four years ago, and I have only taken it out to vintage rallies a few times. It hasn’t been on the road for about a year, I changed the oil and plugs and charged up the battery and it fired up on the second kick. I took it out and did ten miles on it and as always it drove beautifully, the speedometer cable needs oiled or replaced as it seemed to stick a few times then cleared itself. The battery seems to be holding its charge okay, but the indicators on these bikes do like a good battery. Electronic ignition fitted for easy starting and running. Frame number is 631420 Engine number is 537265 Mileage 24551 It is running well and certainly restored to a great standard.
