Galway we are one of Ireland's Leading Garden Shed Manufacturers and have been providing customers with top quality timber buildings for over 35 years. We are looking for someone who is hard working, motivated, a good timekeeper and enjoys manual work. This is a varied role and would suit someone with practical DIY skills who also takes pride in the quality of a job well done. Experience in the timber industry desirable i.e. use of woodworking machinery, hand and power tools. Manual Handling Cert, Forklift Cert & Safe Pass also an advantage. On the job training will be provided, however. Responsibilities; - Operate machinery, tools and equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with H&S - Firewood production e.g. operating firewood processor, forklift log grab and other related duties. - Order picking and loading shed panels. - Delivery and installation of garden sheds, alongside senior installer. - General yard duties. Required skills; - An appropriate level of physical fitness, as the job can be manually demanding - Basic grasp of English language required - Applicant must be able to work on their own initiative as well as with others - A courteous and professional manner - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - A willingness to learn. Job Type: Job may be full-time or part-time. Schedule; - Day shift - Holidays - No weekends - No more than 39 hours per week.
