Fransgard Ti 5000 Twin Rotor Combi Rake for grass and straw. Spread straw, centre rake straw or side rake straw. Ideal for raking young leafy grass, short tine bars = very gentle handling of the crop into the centre - for a loose well formed airy swath and less leaf damage. (-big twin rakes with long tine bars over-handle grass - grass is dragged right around the front and finally delivered into the centre - can be like a rope.) Danish Quality. 14' raking width of spread grass or straw to the centre into a loose airy well formed swath. Approx 16' when raking to one side, e.g straw. Combi machine, can rake and spread. Limited spreading ability, especially in heavy swaths. It can aid drying - it is 2 rotor rake - not a dedicated tedder. Adjustable swath width to suit following machines. Up to 2 x 9' mower conditioner swaths into the centre. (Ti 6000 model available for 2 x 3m swaths) Both swaths are moved to centre onto dry ground. Tractor straddles a swath. Baler / wagon travel on drier ground, less tracking Customers say the grass is presented better (more horizontal) allowing a more consistent chop length when picking up with a baler or wagon with straight / vertical knives. (In contrast - Single rotor rakes just land one swath on top of the other - bottom swath not moved, no drying, chopped less.) Very large cam boxes for smooth movement and long life.
