It is about 20 minutes from the town of Cognac, just over half an hour from Angouleme, about an hour and a half from Bordeaux and just over an hour from the coast, with famous coastal places like Royan and Ile-de-Re about 1 hour and 20 minutes away. The house can sleep 7 people and has a large kitchen with a wood pellet burner, a living room with wood burning stove, a snug and a downstairs toilet. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (one with a king bed , a second with a double bed, and a third with 3 single beds) and a main bathroom with bath and shower. Outside there is a pool (3x6m, salt, heated), a covered games area with a pool table etc. There is a large enclosed lawned garden, ideal for playing football, badminton etc. There are views over the surrounding organic vineyards belonging to the winery 100m away. They have an on-site shop which sells their produce of wines, cognacs and Pineau. A firepit area can also be found tucked away in the mature garden with its many lavenders, trees and shrubs.
