Additionally, we operate and maintain a diverse fleet of over 60 vehicles and plant including Hydraulic truck cranes telehandlers, tractors, excavators, lorries, vans, cherrypickers, woodchippers and forklifts The Role We seek a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Mechanic/Plant Fitter. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the smooth operation of our workshop, overseeing the repair and maintenance of our equipment. Key Responsibilities: Hands-on Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy machinery, including hydraulic and electronic components. Diagnostic Expertise: Utilise diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Process Improvement: Implement innovative solutions to optimize workshop efficiency and productivity. Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and reports, including maintenance logs and inventory. Qualifications and Experience: Proven track record in heavy machinery repair and maintenance. Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
