Dark bay 2yo Colt, Tooracurragh Perrigrin. Well handled, kind and gentle. Awarded best foal at the National KBP show in 2023. He has great bone, strong chest and good proportions. Expected to make between 10.3 and 11hh, so he is a good mid-sized stallion that could be used to breed from large or small mares as well as mid-range mares. This colt combines bloodlines of Kerry Bog ponies that are only 2 generations away from foundation stock with a line that goes back 9 generations of recorded parentage. His sire is Tooracurragh Sciathain who is the grandson of Killorglin Bog Jackie, This is a line with very few progeny, which is sad, as Jackie was full of presence with a strong frame and this passes on to his descendants. His dam is the grand-daughter of Dempsey Bog. He is going to be inspected on 17th May this year and we would expect him to be awarded grade 1. He would be ready to go after that and able to breed mares this year. He will only be sold to a breeder of Kerry Bog ponies.
