They are very lightweight coops, well balanced on two wheels, allowing most of them to be easily moved by one person. Since these are made from Aluminium and have no wood in them, there are no places for those annoying things called mites to live. Mites need wood to be able to hide in. When there is no wood in the chicken coop, then any mite problems you could have will be extremely small or completely non-existent. Sizes currently available in Ireland: 8x10 ft. Layer coops, holds up to 30 chickens (layers or broilers) 10x12 ft. Layer coops, holds up to 60 layers or 80 broilers 9x8 ft. Broiler coops, holds up to 50 broilers 9x16 ft. Broiler coops, holds up to 100 broilers Please note that although these coops have been designed a bit different for broilers and layers, some people like to use the layers coops for broilers because there is more head room inside the coop.
